The Pre-Physician Assistant Student Organization is a non-profit student organization that collaborates with UC San Diego faculty, alumni, and other university and community resources to provide our members with the means to reach their goals of becoming physician assistants. We strive to assist our members in gaining more knowledge about the physician assistant profession, application requirements, shadowing hours, and healthcare experiences. In addition to providing networking opportunities, we also host community service events, socials, and fundraisers. We are proud to have both a Peer Mentorship program, as well as a PA Mentorship program available for members.​We hope PPASO can be a great resource for pre-PA students at UCSD. The Executive Board is continually working to make the arduous process of becoming a PA-S a little less daunting.
