Hi everyone! My name is Sophia and I am a fourth year human biology student in sixth college. I am a transfer student and joined PPASO at the beginning of my third year when I transferred to UCSD. I am looking forward to being community service coordinator as I have always enjoyed being able to use my time to help out in my community, and I can’t wait to continue leaving an impact through PPASO!

 

I am beyond grateful to connect with my fellow pre-PA students as an executive board member while we navigate our undergraduate experience. I believe PPASO is such a helpful way to feel inspired, connected, and motivated to work towards our career goals. Going to PPASO events truly helps with a more in-depth understanding of the career, and I personally found it helped me reaffirm my career decision. 

 

Favorite PPASO memory: I always enjoy hearing the guest speakers at GBM’s. It sometimes is my motivation to keep studying when I hear about how fascinating their jobs are, and their stories are an inspiration and reminder of why I continue to choose this career path.
