Hi! I’m Daniela Yakuta a fourth year Public Health major minoring in general biology. I was born and raised in San Diego so when I made the decision to attend UCSD I was super excited to make new connections in my hometown! I first joined PPASO Winter quarter of my second year, as a general member I was able to meet new people, including wonderful PA-Cs during the annual Dine With a PA. I enjoyed my time as a general member so much I applied to be on board my third year… I was appointed Co-Publicity! I loved my time on board so much as it allowed me to form even deeper connections not only with other PPASO members but also with health professionals.
This year, I’m so excited to be one of PPASOs Co-Presidents and continue to serve PPASO members in forming new connections and helping them further develop their interests in the PA career.
My favorite PPASO member: Helping organize DWPA 2025!
