Hi, my name is Madilynn Romero, and I am a second-year ERC student majoring in General Biology. I joined PPASO in my first year because I wanted to learn more about the PA profession while also finding a community of people who share similar goals. What I’ve valued most is how PPASO blends professional opportunities with a supportive environment where members can genuinely connect. As Co-Treasurer, I’m excited to help create spaces that bring people together, whether through professional development, service, or just shared experiences that make the journey to becoming a PA more meaningful.

Favorite Memory: My favorite PPASO memory was the beach clean-up with students from the Atkinson PA Program at UCSD. The day felt more like a beach outing with close friends than a volunteer event. The PA I worked with brought a lot of energy and humor, and the time I spent laughing and connecting with my peers made the experience unforgettable. It showed me how rewarding it can be when service, friendship, and growth all come together.
