Hi everyone! My name is Jamie Dinh and I am a third year in Marshall College studying General Biology. I joined PPASO the spring quarter of my first year, and while I was originally interested in data science, attending a GBM and hearing from a PA-C developed my passion for the PA profession. Since then, PPASO has been a great resource, teaching me the steps to become a PA while connecting me with other students with similar goals.

 

As one of your Co-Treasurers, I am excited to collaborate with the board and members to plan events that grow our community. I want to spread awareness about the PA profession because without PPASO, I might not have considered this career path at all. Even if you aren’t sure about becoming a PA, I encourage you to attend our GBMS as there is so much useful information to help guide you.

 

Favorite PPASO Memory: My favorite memory was volunteering at the PATH Dinner service and serving food to community members in need. It was such a fulfilling experience that reminded me how meaningful it feels to help others and reinforced why I am drawn to a career in healthcare.
