UCSD Student Grant Program

Get a $500 voucher for the UCSD Extension program! Some of the courses that pre-PA students typically like to the use the voucher on are Medical Terminology,Spanish for Healthcare Professionals, and Anatomy.

*As a side note, the Medical Terminology course is a good course to take if you are interested in becoming a scribe. Although not all scribe positions require that you take that course, it will set you apart from those who have not. *The Spanish for Healthcare Professionals is a good course to take in order to learn Spanish and Spanish medical terminology. Be aware that not all schools may accept this course to fulfill a Spanish requirement. ALWAYS be sure to check with the schools that you are interested in. However, this course is great to help better serve Spanish speaking populations.

Additional info:

• To obtain the voucher, undergrads would go to UCSD Extension Student Services Building C which is located just south of ERC and west of TMC.

• The vouchers run out very quickly, so try to go on the first day of the week that they are handing them out.

• Students must have their UCSD ID with them.

• Students can only get one voucher per quarter, but can get them each quarter they are available. Voucher occurs each Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. Summer quarter varies depending on funding.
